Bands selling out shows isn’t uncommon. Bands selling out their debut headline in the midst of a global pandemic is a little more so. Yet that’s exactly what Manchester four-piece Supera Morza succeeded in doing last September. Having sold out in less than a week, it proved to be an incendiary show, a blistering statement of intent that cemented Supera Morza as one of the city’s most exciting young prospects.
That buzz has since only got louder. With a second hometown headline recently announced for, the band are set to take their uncompromising brand of grunge/punk across the city to YES on February 11th. Three times the size from the claustrophobic confines of The Castle Hotel means there’s space for even more of crowd-surfing, mosh pits and general chaos that made the last show as special as it was. And with Faux Pas and Zero Club DJs completing the line-up, it’s worth getting down early.
